Understanding our Administrative Services

Are you working with a TPA or a bundled provider?

Administrative services include plan design consulting, ongoing support, compliance testing, annual administration, and preparation of required filings such as Form 5500.

Before entering into any service agreement, it is important to understand the difference between bundled and unbundled service models. With an unbundled arrangement, critical ERISA compliance and administrative services are handled by an experienced, local Third Party Administrator (TPA) firm that knows your business and serves as a direct resource, that's us. In many bundled arrangements, these same services may be integrated within a larger recordkeeping platform, often delivered remotely with less personalized support.

Understanding this distinction empowers you to choose the service model, expertise, and relationship that best supports your plan—and keeps you in control of the decisions that matter most.

There is a real cost associated with these services, regardless of who provides them. However, in bundled arrangements, those costs can be difficult to identify because they are often embedded within an overall fee structure.

We help you clearly evaluate the total cost of your plan by breaking down recordkeeping, investment, and TPA administrative fees so you can understand the full cost of your plan and remain firmly in control of the decisions that impact your business and your participants.
